I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
